George Syrett, as an accordionist has made appearances at numerous UK Accordion Clubs, the Bridlington & Caister Festivals, plus regular playing trips to Montana, USA, where he has been in popular demand for many years. In 2003 George was dubbed the "King of Stand Up Accordion" by compere Ron Bennett, following a concert performance in Wimborne, Dorset. One of the highlights of George’s Career was his performance at the Globe Theatre London, and more recently bringing the house down at the "Festival of Accordion" , Castelfidardo in Italy.

An A to Z of the Accordion - Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4 These are the first ever books dedicated to the accordion published in the UK, offering a wealth of articles and biographies.
